Grants of up to £100,000 Available to Help Vulnerable People with their Housing Needs (Yorkshire and the North East)14th March 2024

The Leeds Building Society Charitable Foundation is accepting applications for projects that assist vulnerable individuals in need of a secure and safe home.

Registered charities based in Yorkshire or the North East regions are eligible to apply for multi-year grants ranging from £25,000 to £100,000.

Charities with a turnover of less than £1 million can also apply for small grants of up to £1,000 for projects throughout the UK.

The funding is intended for projects that align with the Foundation's new purpose and one or more of the following themes:

• financial stress
• security and refuge
• quality and suitability of housing
• health and wellbeing support for those experiencing homelessness

The Foundation welcomes applications from those who take a Housing First and/or relationship-based approach. IApplicants should show evidence of:

• Strength-based practice
• Trauma-informed care
• Psychologically-informed environments

The next application deadline is the 10th June 2024.
