Increased Support for Households Struggling with Rising Energy Costs (Scotland)5th April 2023

The Scottish Government is making up to £30 million in funding available to support households with rising energy costs. The funding will be made available to third sector organisations to support the most vulnerable households on any tariff type and using any type of fuel, who are at risk of self-rationing or self-disconnecting their energy use.

The Fuel Insecurity Fund has previously provided funding to organisations including the Fuel Bank Foundation, Advice Direct Scotland, and Scottish Federation of Housing Associations to provide direct support to households.
